Snow

It has seriously snowed more in the 4 months we have been in New Mexico than it has in my entire life in GA. It hasn't been a large quantity of snow, just snowing more often. It has snowed about 4 days out of the last two weeks. It came down pretty good yesterday. So, when Griffin got up from his nap, I put his coat on him and rushed outside. He kept saying bubbles! There hasn't been enough to play in, so hopefully he will get to do that before the winter is over.

Merry Christmas!

Santa was very generous to our boy this year. He must have been pretty good! That or he knew mom and dad didn't have a lot of time to wrap presents. We had a great Christmas. I have to admit, it was a little strange for me. This is the first Christmas that I have not seen my family. But, I can't ask for two better guys to spend it with! We had so much fun and Griffin loved all of his new things.

Super Griffin!

What a difference a year makes! (I have tears in my eyes)

Cookies for Santa

My Christmas wish did come true, we woke up in our brand new house on Christmas morning! Needless to say, Christmas was kind of quickly put together this year, but we did our best. And the important thing is that we did it as a family. Next year will be awesome when Griffin really understands what is going on and we have another little one to share it with.

We made cookies for Santa (they were break and bake, but at least we made some!).

Our stockings were hung on the chimney with care! (see our poor little tree)
Griffin wanted to make sure the cookies were tasty enough to leave for Santa! He opted not to taste test the carrots for Rudolph.

Paw Paw's Visit

Paw Paw (my dad) was nice enough to come help us move into our new house. I am not sure that he will come back, because we wore him out! He and Ryan moved EVERYTHING into our house. I can't believe how much they did. We are living here now, but everything is still kind of a mess. One day at a time.

Griffin was so excited to have Paw Paw around. He would walk around saying Paw Paw, looking for him every second.

Paw Paw also brought his AWESOME Christmas present! He made Griffin his rocking horse. Isn't it awesome! Griffin loves it. He also got him a cowboy hat. The funny thing is, Griffin will not keep a hat on these days. But, he thinks he has to have it on when he rides the horse. :)

Thanks SO much for all of your help Dad! We could not have done it without you. Love you!

Home!

It's official! We are New Mexicans! My Christmas wish came true! We closed on our house on Thursday afternoon and are in the process of having it painted and moving boxes. My dad is driving from Oklahoma tomorrow to help us move for a few days.

I think my hubby is pretty generous, he bought me a house for Christmas! ;)

I will post pictures of the inside once we get everything all spiffy!

Trip to Georgia-Monday

On Monday, we went by my mom's office so all of her coworkers could see the big boy. Then we went by Nanny and Pa's on the way to the airport so that Griffin could ride Pa's tractor.

We had a blast! We can't wait to visit again. Next time, we will have little Ansley in tow!

Trip to Georgia-Sunday

On Sunday, we had Christmas at my mom's. Beware, picture overload on this post. We had so many good ones. Griffin really enjoyed hanging out with cousin Avery.

Trip to Georgia-Saturday

On Saturday, we lounged a little in the morning then went over to Holly and Scott's for an SCHS (sandy creek high school) Christmas visit. They surprised me with a little shower for Ansley. It was so nice! We had a blast. Thank yall!

What a man, lounging in his chair with a cocktail (aka milk) and fruit loops within reach!

Cute little Charlie riding in the dump truck
Some of the gang having smores by the outside fireplace (it was cold and rainy)

Trip to Georgia- Friday

I should have mentioned this in my last post, but beware, there are a lot of pictures! So many that Griffin even learned the word picture while we were there. He points to the camera now and says picture. :)

On Friday, Ryan went and had breakfast with an old coworker and I got a prenatal massage! It was fabulous! After that, we enjoyed a lazy morning with Nana and then went to Grandma's to visit with the Barlow's.

Posing by the scenery at Nana's.

Griffin loved the golf cart or the beep beep as he calls it. Too bad it was pretty cold and rainy while we were in town. He did get a couple of rides.

Playing with cousin Jason and Katie
Grandma had this doll stroller of Madison and Lily's and he LOVED pushing it around.

Our attempt at a picture with Grandma. Check out Griffin's face. Priceless.
He sat right in Madison's lap to read a book.
Opening all of his awesome presents. Thank you all SO much!

Playing with Madison and Lily
He warmed right up to Madison. He kept giving her hugs and sitting in her lap.

Trip to Georgia-Thursday

We took our first trip back to Georgia this past weekend. We were there Thursday-Monday (I am going to split into several posts). We had so much fun. Griffin was a trooper. We kept him very busy! He had such a great time seeing everyone. Everybody was so impressed with him. When we left, he was not walking or talking, so they were all in for a treat!

This is Thursday when we got there. Nanny and Pa couldn't wait to see their little buddy. He was even saying Nanny and Pa!
