Ryan's Aunt Nancy is an incredible quilter. She made the kids these BEAUTIFUL wall quilts and sent them to us the other day. They are stunning. Thank you so much Nancy! This is something they will treasure forever!
Griffin (aka psycho eyes) and his alphabet quilt. If you can't tell from the photo, each letter is done with a fabric that represents the letter (G=golf, etc). SO COOL!
Ansley's is a growth chart with sheep and butterflies. It is so beautiful.
Ryan got an early birthday present this evening!! A new car, a Nissan Altima. It has been time for him to upgrade for a while. The Torrent was raking up the miles and wear and tear. It is super sporty, yet practical for someone who drives all the time. It is silver with black interior.
We celebrated Ansley's birthday on Saturday at Red Light Green Light. It was SO much fun. This was our first time having a party outside of our home and I have to say, it was nice. Ya'll know me....the party planner...so it was difficult for me not to have to do anything. But it sure was awesome to have someone else run the show and clean up!!
Little Ansley had the best time and so did everyone else. I put the photos in two posts, so make sure to look in both.
I did make the goodie bags. They included these homemade ladybug pretzels....A bug catcher (found at target $1 bins, I added the ribbon), ladybug windup up toy and a ladybug Easter egg with M&M's inside I think it turned out pretty cute
The party room was decorated with red and black and had a banner image on the wall.
I have been married to my best friend, Ryan, since 2006 and we welcomed our first son Griffin in July of 2008. We welcomed our baby girl Ansley in March of 2010.
We moved from Atlanta to Albuquerque, NM and remained there for 3 years. Ryan's work transfered us to Texas and we are now living in the Dallas area. Ryan has an amazing job as a roofing saleman and this allows me to be a stay at home mom.
I created this blog to allow our family and friends to keep up with our daily lives. Thanks for checking in on us!
