Last Day of Preschool

Today is Griffin's last day of preschool.  He has grown SO much over the past year.  It truly is amazing.  I am so proud of our little guy!

Last Day of Preschool May 2012

I seriously have tears in my eyes looking at these pictures.  I see him everyday, so I do not notice how much he grows.  The first day and last day pictures are amazing.  He is such a big kid now!

Ring of Fire

We were able to view the annular solar eclipse from our bedroom window on Sunday.  An annular solar eclipse is when the moon's apparent diameter is small than the suns, so it causes the sun to look like a ring of fire.  Per the news, this is something that was only visible in Japan and on the US west coast.  The news said the best places to view it was Asia and Albuquerque.  The entire movement lasted only 5 minutes, from 7:33pm to 7:38pm. We were able to capture the Ring of Fire on a few photos.  It was so bright that we had to find a little shadow on our window that we were able to get the pictures to come out.  Not the best quality, but it was still very cool.

Mother's Day

Better late than never!  I had a wonderful Mother's Day thanks to my 3 favorite people.  They cooked me breakfast, we went to tball then out to dinner at one of my favorite restaurants....Joe's Pasta House.  I love being a mom more than anything.  These two precious kids are the light of my life.

I got new cookware as my gift (I did pick it out) and also another present from Ryan....No more Beals babies in this household.  Ryan got the snip snip last Friday.  :)

Day 5- LEGOLAND! Part 1

Day 5 was the much anticipated Lego Land.  This day ended up being gorgeous, high 60's and sunny.  The kids had the best time and so did we.  We rode rides like crazy and luckily it was not too crowded. Poor Griffin is 39 inches tall, and several of the big kid rides you had to be 40 inches.  But, we got to ride plenty as is, I think we would have been worn out could we ride everything.  :)

Getting energy for a fun day!

LEGOLAND!!

The first ride was a jungle safari, Papa and Ms. Carol took the kids.

Onto the fairytale boat ride with my princess

Ansley saw this duck and says... "Winnie!!"

Our big kids conducting the train all by themselves

Day 5- LEGO LAND!- Part 2

This girl would go up to every lego statue and hug it and say "CHEESE"

Doing to the firetruck ride with Papa and Ms. Carol

I think this was Papa's favorite.  He got into a little squirt competition with another boat.

Gosh....I love this kid

Griff's face on this ride, LOVE IT!

Mini Lego Land was full of lego models after landmarks in D.C, Vegas, Paris, Sydney, etc

G convinced Papa to get a fabulous lego set

Bye Lego Land, we had SO much fun!!

Ansley got a Cinderella duplo set which she loves.  We got home and she crashed on the back of the couch with her milk and the "princess and pony"

Day 4 Date Night

On Wednesday night, after the aquarium and the beach, Ryan and I were able to have a date night. It turned out that Cirque De Soliel was performing 2 miles from our condo.  I took that as a sign, we HAD to go.  It was at the fairgrounds, so it was in a Cirque tent.  Well, if you have ever been to a show in a tent, it is very intimate.  There were only about 2500 seats. We ended up on the very back row, but the seats were FABULOUS!

We had dinner at a local restaurant called The Fish Market prior to the show.  It was delicious.

Me and my hot date!!
