Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween from our family to yours!!
This year we had a pilot and a flying horse.  They actually had both of these costumes prior to Halloween.  I gave them the option of something new and they both stuck with these.  It was pretty easy this year.
Our apartment complex gave away a free pizza and treats tonight. So we went for our free dinner and then went to a neighborhood up the road to trick or treat.  They had a blast!!  I have to say...I was a little sad not to have to give candy away this year.  I always enjoy it.  But, I did get to go around with the kids the entire time, which was AWESOME!

Captain Beals

Flying Horsey Ansley

Not sure what they enjoyed more, trick or treating or the aftermath!  :)

Tennis Griff

Griffin starts a 4 week tennis session on Saturday.  It's been a while, so we figured he needed to practice a bit.  I am pretty sure he remembers!
I am not sure who had more fun Griffin or the ball retriever.  :)

Random Pics

A few random pics from Nana's trip.

Our little ballerina is one closest to the red wall

Great Wolf Lodge-Part 2

We stayed on Wednesday night and left Thursday around noon.

We seriously did these slides 1,000 times

Had to check out the gift shop

My two turkeys!

They have story time every night at 8pm and encourage kids to wear their jammies.

The kids loved the coloring

Doing a little bit better the second day!

Not a fan of the bracelets they had to wear (which is odd cause she wears them all the time)

Nana is a sucker for her grandson....SHE GOT HER HAIR WET!!!  People, this does not happen...EVER!  :)

This bucket dumps 1,000 gallons of water every 10 minutes or so.  Don't get stuck underneath.

She even rode the water slides!!

Raccoon Nana and her grand babies

What a SUPER fun time!!

Great Wolf Lodge-Part 1

Poor Ryan was out of town all week for work, so he missed all this fun Nana and I had with the kids.  The one thing I was most sad that he missed was the Great Wolf Lodge.  If you have not heard of it, google it.  It is AMAZING!  Yall....seriously, this place was awesome.  It is a hotel with an indoor and outdoor water park (outdoor was closed for the season).  The entire thing is themed out like a lodge.
We had the best time!  I will say, Ansley was a little young.  I would venture to say 4 and up may be better because Griffin had the time of his life.  He still asks everyday when we can go back.  Ansley is a little bit of a scardy cat (refer to Rainforest cafe), so I am not sure if it would be suitable for other 2 year olds.
Regardless, this place is awesome!  Please please go if you ever have a chance.

Little kid area

The rooms are themed out.  Ours was Kid Camp and had bunk beds in a seperate little room for the kids.

Griff was too little to do these big slides, next time!!

Wave pool, this was Ansley's favorite
