Pumpkin Carving

We carved our pumpkins last night.  We have had bad luck with them rotting or getting bug infested in the past, so we waited until the last possible day this year to carve them.  The kids had a blast.  I actually really enjoy it too.

This face is priceless!

Daddy dumping the pumpkin guts on Griff's hand

Ryan and I continued the tradition of me carving Ansley's pumpkin and him doing Griffin's.  Ansley requested a princess girlie pumpkin and Griffin a scary monster one.   We did tell G that next year he could do his own.
I think we did pretty good

I used the Pinterest drill technique on mine (on the left) to do a B.  But I didn't use a big enough drill bit, so it is difficult to see. :( I was too tired, maybe next year!  Ryan's super scary red warty pumpkin gave him a run for his money.  That bad boy is hard to carve, thick skin!

Cubs Party

Griffin had his end of the season party for baseball last week.  Pizza and cookie cake, what more could a kid ask for!  He has done amazing this year with coach pitch and making plays etc. I look forward to continuously watching him grow.

Pumpkin Patch

On Monday of Nana's visited, we cashed in my groupon to the "ghetto" pumpkin patch in our town.  I thought I was buying it for the good one, but should have known that wasn't the case.  Oh well, the kids didn't know any different and had a blast.  We seriously had the place to ourselves almost the entire time we were there....then a couple other groupon suckers showed.  ;)

I had mentioned how much better Ansley was at getting her picture taken......

These goobers!!  At least we can laugh at the out takes!!

I swear Ansley's eyes were not glued shut all day, however these photos may show otherwise.  Darn sun!

Aquarium with Nana

My mom popped in for a quick visit two weekends ago.  They had a deal on some skymiles, so she took advantage of them!  We always love some Nana time!!!

We decided the aquarium would be a fun adventure!

These two cutie pa-tooties enjoyed it!
