First Day of Kindergarten and First Grade!!

Monday was the beginning of a new chapter in the Beals family.  Both kids are in "real" school.  The only person that cried was me.  ;)  Ansley did great, she did seem a little apprehensive but was super brave.  Griffin was excited to see his friends.  Here's to an awesome year!!!

Meet the Teacher

It is hard to believe summer is over.  It was fun, but I have to say, I am ready to get back into our routine.
We attended meet the teacher this past week. Both kids were lucky enough to get the teachers they wanted. Ansley's teacher is Mrs. York (Griff's teacher from last year) and Griffin's teacher is Mrs. Nanny (that's right folks, LOVE the name).

Looking forward to an amazing year.  Kinder and 1st here we come!

Home Sweet Home

We had an amazing visit, but we sure were glad to be home to see Ryan and Sadie!

So happy to see this sign!!!

And we are back! Check out the temp!

In their happy place

Ansley found a couple of my old costumes while we were there.  Had to start playing dress up as soon as we returned.

Rehab

We visited with Nanny as much as we could....

Their version of "visiting"
I even played beauty parlor with her a few times....including nails and hair!

He liked cuddling in the bed with her

We were able to stay until the day she "busted out" (j/k, they let her out).  We met them for lunch and helped her get situated at home.

Fishing

Griffin got in plenty of fishing during our visit.  It was the first thing he would ask to do as soon as we would wake up in the morning and the last before bed!
Papa Jim took him fishing one morning
But mostly it was from the dock in their backyard!

Fishing in their jammies!
