Baseball Tourney CHAMPIONS

The Rattlers participated in the Pony Elite tournament in Burleson over Memorial Day.  It was a LONG second day.  It was double elimination.  Luckily, our team was on FIRE and we were the only undefeated team, so we only (I use that term loosely) had to play 4 bracket games.  With that being said, this tournament was about an hour away, so we could not come home between games. The championship game STARTED around 10pm.  But it was all worth it in the end....we left as CHAMPS!

Number 7 is my personal fav!
Little sister around game one....a little red tongue action from a snow cone

Little sister during game four!  Haha!  Girlfriend was TIRED

And this smile right why we do this!

This is what four games and getting home after midnight does to ya...

and to the fans!

Griff's Field Trip

I was super excited to be chosen to chaperone Griffin's field trip to the Dallas Aquarium.  I had the sweetest group of boys.  We had a great time!

Field Day

Sorry I have been MIA for the last few months!  Two things, I was trying to enjoy the summer with my wonderful kiddos and I was having phone issues.  When I would finally sit down to try to blog, I could not get the pictures off my two hours (literally) on the phone with apple yesterday finally got them off.  So, bare with me as I try to catch up on my blog.  It may be a while...

Starting where I left off....Field Day

The kids really LOVE field day.  It is so much fun to see them (Ansley in particular, Griff always is) get all competitive.

Love this action shot

This game was FUN-E...they have to sit on a wet sponge and fill up a bucket under the crate.

Watch out!

Mother's Day Tea

Griffin's class hosted a Mother's Day Tea.  It was SO sweet.  All the mama's (including me) were shedding tears.
What a STUD!!
All my goodies at my seat.  All the items were made by Griffin, note cards, a handkerchief for when he graduates high school (so sweet!), a book all about me, and a beautiful placemat

LOVE this boy SO much!!

Griffin's teacher is AMAZING!  She is so thoughtful and generous!  She put together this packet of Mother's Day cards to be opened every 5 years for the next 20 years.  Tears!!

Such a wonderful morning!

Ansley's Field Trip

Ansley had her Kindergarten field trip last week.  It was to the Dallas Arboretum.  I am not sure which she was more excited about....the bus ride or the actual field trip.  :)

I was so excited to be chosen to chaperone!  I chaperoned Griffin's last year and it was cold and rainy the entire time.  Luckily, it was hot and sunny this time!
My group...Hailey, Hudson, Ansley and Ethan

Bus buddies!

Please notice all the girls with their sassy poses.

Proof of a successful trip!
